It's on corner of Swanston St and Collins St.

Amazing! You've replicated the grain and coloration used in vintage postcards and color prints of the era in which this building was built. I wish I knew how to do that.

Thanks :D

Actually I did take this picture with an Olympus Pen (not sure what film).

Then some subtle tweaks in Photoshop, but surprisingly not much was needed.

So go buy an old camera and experiment ;)

Oh and I love Art Deco too! :hug:

I really like the grain too, but what really draws me in here is the composition and the colours. You've made a still shot of a still object such as a building contain so much motion by composing at an angle, great job!

Thank you so much. :)

I was pleasantly surprised with how the photo's came out considering I actually didn't expose the film correctly.

So I'll never know for sure if it was the lens, film, light, over or under exposure of film or combination of some or all that made the photo look like it does. ^^;

You're welcome =)

Haha that's odd. Sometimes you just get lucky I guess ;)
Looks to me more like there's something with the film rather than the exposure, since all the shadows and highlights look quite evenly lit. Or perhaps something with the lens coating (or lack of) and light hitting the glass under a certain angle. I wouldn't know =P
I love the look of film by the way, I'll start using it soon as well.
